Pixar
Steve Jobs is the CEO of Pixar Animation Studios which he co-founded in 1986. Pixar has created six famous and well known films. These include Toy Story, A Bug's Life, Toy Story 2, Monsters Inc, Finding Nemo, and The Incredibles and will release its next movie, Cars in June 2006. After buying Pixar from George Lucas in 1986, he did not do much with it, except to pinpoint its focus on animation and innovation, until 1995, when Disney signed a deal to release films with Pixar. This focusing on animation helped Pixar become the best animation studio. After Toy Story was released, Pixar and Disney signed a contract to release six more movies with Disney over ten years. In 2006, Disney bought Pixar. When the deal is finished, Steve is expected to have a seat on the board of directors, where he will have an influence on creating more succesful blockbusters. |
