Future Goals for Web Design

            In the future I will most definitely use web design techniques. I will take advanced web page design next quarter so I can learn how to make an even better website. I will also take it so I can learn how to work in flash to make a cool animated page. I will also take it to learn more about using Photoshop for the web. I would like to get better at web page design so that someday I can design a professional looking website. Learning more web page design techniques and increasing my skills will also make me a better candidate for a job in that sector. I would like to take advanced web page design class because I would like to expand my knowledge of web page design past the basic level. Advanced techniques would help me troubleshooting problems and adding cool new designs and layouts. Learning more advanced design techniques would allow me to create a webpage in less time while still making it look better. 

I plan to design a website sometime in the near future. I will design one either as an “About Me” kind of page, or a web page with information about a subject or person. I would also like to design a prospective business website as a storefront for a potential business. If I get a job at a place that doesn’t have a website, or even one that does, I could help design their website and get a few brownie points in the process. When I start my own business one day, I won’t have to hire someone else to design my business’s website when I could do it myself and make it exactly how I want it. This would also help lower the costs of starting a business. I can also use my web page design knowledge to design a website for a class project. A report would much nicer as an interactive flash website that everyone can check out than a poster. These webpage design techniques would help me in school, business, and life.
